1. Who are we?
Shift Solutions B.V. (hereinafter: "Wheelion", "we" or "us"), established at Uranus 1, IJsselstein (Chamber of Commerce: 42038863), is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy policy.
2. What personal data do we process?
We process personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data yourself when creating an account. We process the following data from our users:
- Account data: First and last name, company name (if applicable), email address and a hashed password.
- Financial data: Invoice address, payment details (such as IBAN or credit card information) for the subscription fees.
- Technical data: IP address, login data, data about your activities on our platform, internet browser and device type.
Important note on vehicle data: Our search engine collects and processes data from vehicles (such as make, model, options and prices) from third parties. In this process, we expressly do not process registration plate data or any other information that is directly traceable to an individual vehicle owner.
3. Why do we process this data?
Wheelion processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Processing your payment and invoicing.
- Enabling you to create and secure a personal account.
- Delivering goods and services to you (access to the platform).
- Being able to call or email you if necessary to carry out our services (for example for support questions or disruptions).
- Analysing platform usage to improve the website and tailor the offering to preferences.
4. How long do we retain personal data?
We do not retain personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
- Account data: Until you delete or cancel your account. After cancellation, account data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days.
- Financial data: We are legally required to retain our records, including invoices and payment data, for 7 years for the tax authorities.
5. Sharing personal data with third parties
Wheelion does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it where necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf (such as a payment provider for collections or our hosting partner), we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
6. Cookies and similar technologies we use
Wheelion uses only technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone upon your first visit to this website. They ensure the website works properly and remember, for example, your login details.
7. Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Wheelion. Requests for access, correction or deletion can be sent to info@wheelion.nl. To ensure that the request has been made by you, we may ask you to verify your identity.
8. How we secure personal data
Wheelion takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
